This refreshing oil is derived from the Peppermint plant (Mentha piperita) and is a naturally occurring hybrid of water mint and spearmint. The menthol in peppermint is its signature property and is sure to give you mint-y benefits. Inhaling it or putting it on your skin immediately gives your senses a wake-up call, so if you need a product that can invigorate your senses, uplift your spirits, and stimulate your mind, Ollie's peppermint oil is the product for you!
There are so many ways to use the wonderfully minty, cooling peppermint oil. But perhaps the simplest way is to inhale it using a diffuser or a homemade spray with other complementary essential oils. Aaah-feel that refreshing breeze run right through your head. Did you know that peppermint is antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, and can help to calm dry and damaged skin (even the scalp)? If you have an itchy scalp and/or dandruff, try applying diluted peppermint oil. The menthol in the peppermint oil dilates blood vessels and improves blood flow. Works wonders, I tell ya. It's antimicrobial, antiviral, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties means that it is a great oil to have in your essential oil kit as it aids in alleviating your ailments and is also a natural alternative for insect repellent! It is also great for relieving muscle pain, migraines, and even vertigo! Inhale it as a natural alternative for asthma relief, sinusitis, spasmodic coughing, nausea and fainting. Peppermint oil can be digested and is great for relieving heartburn, nausea, indigestion, gastric troubles, and diarrhea. Put it in a relaxing tea of your choice, sit back, and enjoy.
I get this oil directly from the Uttar Pradesh region which is the main growing region for this oil in Northern India. Whenever a new batch comes in, I personally test it to make sure that it is of the best quality and that it is not altered in any way. Nothing but the best, purest oils for Ollie-lovers!
You must dilute this oil as it is potent. Not doing so might result in the skin feeling uncomfortable due to the cooling effect of the menthol and might give a "burning" sensation. Not cool.
